One of the most iconic and must-go places in Sydney. This iconic landmark the Sydney Harbour Bridge stands out for miles around and you can even see it when you come in to land at the International Airport. Completed 1932 in is a masterpiece in engineering skills being the largest steel arch bridge in the world. If you are daring you can pay to walk up the bridge although many consider it a bit pricey. The new year fireworks are amazing display from the bridge. Watched all over the world. You can walk across it on the footpath. Drive or catch a train on it. You can even do bridge climb and go to the very top. This is the best place to see the whole of Sydney if you climb to the top of the bridge. This area is great for photography if u go from many different angles, like from the Opera House. This is a very famous landmark in Sydney, most tourists should come here. Highly recommended.

Amazing feat of engineering. When we came to Sydney we did the bridge climb which was well worth the money. We opened for the twilight climb so we could climb up at sunset and see the amazing views over Sydney at day and night

I am a massive fan of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and it's something that is part of my life. I'm always going over it, taking photos of it and using it as a huge part of the influencer work that I do. I even jogged across it today and love it!

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is an Australian heritage-listed steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is widely regarded as an iconic image of Sydney, and of Australia itself. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.

No words for this iconic place. The best time I found to visit Harbour is a weekend night (esp. Sat) and of course during VIVID. Simply love it!

Its one of the most scenic and beautiful spot in Sydney. You get the best views of the bridge from the ferry or may just around the opera house. The architecture of the bridge is beyond imagination. Such a huge structure hanging above the water and the views are just spectacular

The grand and beautiful Sydney Harbour Bridge has become an architectural symbol that is instinctively a signifier of not only Sydney but also Australia. It has been a quintessential icon of Sydney and an important part of the city’s landscape since 1932 and it is one of the finest places to visit in Sydney.

While the Opera House is an architectural gem, the Harbour Bridge will no doubt be an engineering great. Its span is among one of the longest and the steel archway still remains the tallest in the world. To appreciate the massiveness and the marvelousness of the bridge, don't just look at it from a distance, make sure you walk on it specially the walkway on the east side when you can have the Opera House in view. If you would like to get an elevated view of the harbour and the city, climb the South-East Pylon. For those who don't mind height, BridgeClimb is the ultimate challenge with potentially the maximum thrill!

A must do if in Sydney, walk across the bridge or bike ride. Western side is for bikes and the east side is for pedestrians. Great views.

Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Sydney, Australia and a must go places in Sydney. The closest station to get to the bridge is either Circular quay station and can walk up the bridge from the rocks. Many people walk/run/cycle at the bridge and great city and harbour view throughout the walk. You can also do bridge climb which is a bit costly but a must do activity in Sydney. It’s a great experience. I would recommend the sunset walks as you get to see the sun setting and the city lights. There are great views of the harbour bridge from Milsons point, lavender bay, Watson bay, Taronga zoo, Mrs. Macquaries chair in the Royal botanical gardens. The bridge lights up during the winter vivid festival and also has a great fireworks display during the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Highly recommended.

I'll tell you, a small story about Morning and Evening. “It should be Beautiful Sightseeing” as “Sunset State of Mind" 1st Pic was Morning, I was in a rush for work. The train was 5 mins delay, so thought of seeing the view for a while. It was so calm and relaxing. Could have waited and wanted to miss my train, it was that good seeing the view. 2nd Pic was in the Evening, I was with my girlfriend. Sunset; my kinda meltdown. It has always been my favourite point of the day. And I choose every single time to go out to see the sunsets. 3rd Pic is the actual pic of the sunset, sitting on the shore and waiting for the Sun to go down slowly.

would definitely recommend the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb to anyone who's contemplating doing it - even if you're not that good with heights. The views are amazing, and the guides are wonderful.

One of the most iconic structures in Sydney and the world. Very easy to get great vantage points to see the best views of the bridge. Milk Beach. Mrs Macquaries Chair. Lunar Park. Circular Quay. Observatory Hill. The Manly ferry is a great viewing point to see the bridge. Also the ferry to Taronga Zoo gives a nice view of the bridge. There is a great view from inside the zoo across the harbour to the bridge. When the Vivid festival is on in Sydney there are great views from the bridge of the city lit up. I brought my mum to see the bridge and my mum is not the best with heights so we did the pylon lookout instead of the bridge walk. There are great views of the harbour and the city from the pylons. The new year fireworks are amazing display from the bridge. Watched all over the world.

Very well built bridge with multiple lanes for traffic, trains and even features lanes for pedestrians and cyclists. People often associate the shape with the city... Some thing to do with icons and what not.... "Iconic" did you say?

I guess the Sydney harbour bridge, AKA the coat hanger doesn’t really need an introduction. One of the major landmarks of the city, and good for a stroll back and forth. And off course the centrepiece of the NYE fireworks. Be aware you can only walk on the east side, and only cycle on the west side. Going up the south-east pillar is nice as well, with even better views, and a bit of history.

What a beautiful iconic monument! Visible from far, more beautiful up close, and breathtaking during the New Year fireworks. 4 star only because bridge climb is too expensive and there is a toll when driving through and also because it’s not easy to drive on as the lane direction changes. Other than that, I love a good picnic under the bridge!

One of the most iconic and must-go places in Sydney. Can't tell others you went to Sydney without landing a foot on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for sure. Snapped some photos on, from, of and with it, from day to night, from north south east and west, selfies and all sorts of poses. A must-go, to tag along the Sydney Opera House.

If u like spending money... then pay around $100 AUD to go to the top of the bridge. It's recommended to go around sunset time so you can capture the sunset from the top of the bridge and get awesome views.

Sydney was the most beautiful big city we have ever seen. The harbor is amazing and has been recovered so that there are many parks and views open to the public. Leave a half day to do this either by boat or car.

The bridge is an iconic feature within Sydney and although I’ve been here three years, driving across it is still quite enjoyable! If like me you’re a photographer; there are so many ways to shoot the bridge...but eventually you’re forced to be a bit more creative with your shots! Best time to go would be golden hour or evening - there’s always going to be bus loads of tourists however if you wander around to the corners (if you’re at Kirribilli) you can lost the crowds easily, beautiful surroundings.

Everytime I visit Sydney a walk around is a must. Just walk though the botanical gardens and around the foreshore. There is a bar and cafe on the other side so you can stop and take in the view.

One of the truly iconic bridges of the world! The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a testament to Australian spirit, built many years ago. It's a beautiful sight whether you're flying into Sydney, or wandering around Circular Quay, or taking the many ferries across the harbour itself.

This beautiful bridge with its Aussie flags flying proudly over the harbor is immediately recognizable. The best views of circular key can be obtained from it's heights. One can drive across it, walk across it, or even take a guided tour that climbs to the top of it - or you can hang out underneath it over by one of the many pubs eateries and markets that grace its grounds. Must see.

Not a bad bridge, good size hasn’t fallen down. Some would say it’s even become a national icon.

The harbour bridge walk offers great views, overlooking the Opera House. However, the fences on both sides of the walkway block these views and you have to stand at the view point to have a good look at it. There are pubs and cafes in The Rock area for the visitors but be sure to visit before 5 which is when most things shut down

Behold the beauty of the Harbour Bridge during the Vivid festival, one of the iconic light laser show on planet. Whole city bathes in vividness and the nights reminds of pendora from Avatar . The cool breeze and chilly nights makes the stay worthful and memories etched deep for lifetime.

Sydney Harbour Bridge is great bridge connect Sydney North and South. It is the seventh longest spanning-arch bridge in the world and the tallest steel arch bridge. The bridge built on 1932, nearly hundreds years are still shinning and beautiful.
