Kuljinder is a very intelligent instructor. She taught me reference points to get rid of the optical illusions and help sense car position. She also talked about targeting, space management and risk factors. This helps to build strong visual skills and mental skills. Her attitude is very positive and reassuring. Friends out there, she is totally the best!

I had a very good experience here. Kuljinder is very good instructor can be a little strict at times but it will be for the good of the student. I took 5 lesson package and was able to pass the test on the next day my lessons finished. Will recommend this school to aspiring drivers.

I did not take any class from this place.
I called this place to schedule driving classes and I had few questions as I am new to driving. The lady who answered the call started to yell at me after my 2nd question saying that she has already lost a customer because of the time I am keeping her on phone. I remember how she answered one question of mine, I wanted to know if they offer any classes after 5 PM and her reply was " I have kids and family at home, how do you expect me to work" She could have just said no we do not offer. This prompted me to go to a different driving school and I am very happy with them now. I actually sense a business opportunity and planning to start our own driving school because these guys are going down soon.

Kuljinder is an excellent instructor. I took 5 lessons from her and I am able to drive with confidence now. Her instructions and tips are very effective and it build the basic foundations of driving which is really important. I would highly recommend it, especially for beginners.

Driver License is not just a document but it's a tool to use always with responsibility. So getting this should be even with more responsibility. This is what I learned from the tutor here who focuses even on minute things to sharpen the driving skills instead of just follow the few given points to get her job done. Short Review:
Price: 5 Stars. Probably the cheapest in Bellevue.
Time: She makes and maintain the time. She will send you text to remind you about the class.
Helpfulness: She picked me up once for early morning class.
Tips: Her practical tips are going to go a long way in my driving.
Long and heartfelt review:
I went to this driving school as this was closer to my place. Also other reviews helped. My first class was with Paramjit. He was very friendly and initiated me to the American way of driving. Being from India I had difficulty adjusting to the left-hand driving. He patiently explained all the rules and showed me the techniques for reverse parking, parallel parking etc. Till this point I was doing all these in right hand driving and doing it in hunch. He showed me the right way of doing it.
My next two classes were with Kuljinder. As mentioned, I did not have problem in driving but had problems with the rules and technicalities as they are completely different from India. She patiently explained all those points as many times as I needed. I was very nervous all through the time and she tried best to soothe my nerves. She was friendly but strict at the same time.
Overall she was friendly, just and dutiful. I must say she is the reason I passed my driving test. Kuljinder, I cannot thank you enough for all the guidance. You constant harping on the rules and technicalities made me remember those. I hope I will be a better driver because of your teaching.

I have tried 2 different driving schools prior to learning from Drive Academy with Kuljinder. She was patient, polite and taught me the technical side in a way that I understood. What she tries to do is inculcate best practices of driving as habits so that one can be a safe driver later. If are new to driving and unsure of how to get started with driving license process, I strongly suggest taking classes here. Needless to say, I got my license thanks to a good coach(that’s you Kuljinder).
Register for driving lessons here and you won’t regret it.

Hi, I am Satya....I know you remember me who made many mistakes while driving and crossed the bus when its stopped in the first class hahahaha :) So sorry for making you panic in the beginning. I dont knew the driving and was beginner. But now I am doing good after taking classes from kuljinder. I passed the driving test. You are very patient and strict too at the same time. I chose Kuljinder after reading reviews about her service. I lacked confidence on my own self because of my zero driving experience. It was Kuljinder who accommodated all of my fears, patiently addressed my silly doubts, and taught to drive responsibly. She often checked if I was feeling overwhelmed and pointed out at my errors with great patience and gave me the space to correct them. Moreover she gives you driving/seating/safety tips, makes sure if you are comfortable, gives credit if you have done something well, and motivates you to do well. She is extremely polite, always cheerful and very professional. I don't usually write reviews, but I do rely on them when I research. But I wanted to make this count for newbies. She is a great instructor even if you are bad like me (I still need practices even though I cleared the test :P), but go for it. Thank you Kuljinder for being so kind.

Just cleared my driving test today thanks to the tips given by Kuljinder. I have been driving back home since 4 years, but still opted to take 5 classes to get acquainted with the rules. Kuljinder helped me iron out the minute mistakes that I never paid attention to while driving back home. She is very patient and backs you even when you commit mistakes thus ensuring you do not panic and lose confidence. A bit strict at times, but that's for your own good.
Still having second thoughts, well in that case she also gives you free pick-up and drop within certain radius around Bellevue which no other driving school nearby offers.
Would highly recommend for beginners as well as for people who need practice on the roads here.

My experience with this driving school was very good. The instructor Kuljinder is patient and professional. The tips she provided during the training sessions proved very useful to me during the driving test. The driving school is open on weekends which was the biggest plus for me. Also if you are located outside Bellevue you are offered free pick-up and drop-off at Bellevue Transit Center which is great.

Previously, I don't have any driving experience. I started to learn driving in Feb from Kuljinder. She is a very detail-oriented teacher (so that's why one comment one year ago said she may be a little strict sometimes XDDDDD but it is good for safety. If you just consider to find any school let you pass exam loosely, it is not a correct attitude for driving). For each techniques, she will explain the rationales behind, as a result to make you feel easy to understand.
As I don't have any cars or know anyone one can help me practice after lesson, I took 13 lessons. Before I attempted for exam, she helped me solely focus on practicing road conditions at the last lesson. It was because she knew I was not good at this area (we skipped maneuver at the last lesson because I am already good). She really helped me specifically to resolve my weakness and rebuild confidence.
Finally I passed at 4th attempt. I am really happy. At each lesson and exam attempt, she did provided a lot of feedback. That really helped me getting improved and drove better than previous time. At 3rd attempt I scored 74 and at 4th attempt I scored 90.
If you are hardworking enough to follow Kuljinder's techniques closely, you are definitely a safe driver and you can pass the exam. I highly recommend Drive Academy Driving School. Thank you Kuljinder!

Drive Academy is incredible!
Kuljinder is fabulous instructor and an equally awesome person. She is very knowledgeable and thoroughly answers any questions you have. She stays focused on you all the time and ensures you pay attention not just to your own driving, but to the whole situation on the road, explains to you other driver's mistakes etc.She teaches everything from basics (SMOG, reference points,targeting)which helps during the driving test.
And here I am, having cleared my driving test successfully in the first attempt and I owe it all to her great teaching.
