The owner falsely accused me for someone else or thought i stole from him previous trip to his store. Everyone I went in the store I at least spent $100. I do not steal nor do I look like or act like one who does. I am very offended by his false accusation and embarrassment by him checking my briefcase in front of customers to find out I had nothing of his tucked away. Then after that happened he said my friend was bad news and I shouldn't come back to his store again!!?????!!?? What a dumb idiot That guy is! Bad business for sure. So now I gladly spend lots of money at Coles hardware on Polk st! They deserve the business much more than nob hill hardware Russian dueshbag

The owner and his erm...friend *wink* are very helpful and friendly, despite looking imposing at first, being large and Slavs. The store is well stock with basically everything you need for the gone or projects within. I hung a dish rack from the ceiling, or up a hanging chair, raised and diverted my showerhead, replaced a faucet, retired my lighting fixtures, put a brew organizer system in my closet and put hooks and take in my fort so for under half what i expected to pay. When i got the wrong small part four times, we laughed and he helped me without worry. His dog is super cute too. This is the kind of local business that I wouldn't mind paying more at, and I don't even have to do that. His hours are not exactly at posted (8:30am is wishful thinking), but the owner and friend are the only staff, and always make the experience pleasant.
